What is the difference between semi-automatic and fully-automatic sweet potato starch equipment

Fully-automatic starch equipment has complete technology, high efficiency, stable quality, and is suitable for large-scale, high-quality production; semi-automatic equipment has low investment but low efficiency and unstable quality, and is suitable for small-scale initial production.

1. Different degree of automation
The fully-automatic starch equipment has a relatively complete processing technology, using European excellent wet starch processing technology. The entire processing process consists of several steps: cleaning, crushing, filtering, sand removal, purification, refining, dehydration, and drying. The cleaning and crushing are thorough, multi-stage filtering and slag removal, dehydration and drying are efficient, the extraction rate is high, and the processed starch is fine and can be directly packaged and sold. The semi-automatic processing equipment adopts a production method that combines partial mechanization and manual labor. The cleaning of sweet potatoes is relatively simple, impurities are not removed in place, and the pulping and starch extraction process is rough, so the quality of the produced starch cannot be guaranteed.

2. Different processing efficiency
The fully automatic starch equipment adopts PLC control system and adopts automatic processing method throughout the whole process. The feeding can reach dozens of tons per hour. It only takes more than ten minutes from the feeding of fresh sweet potatoes to the discharging of starch. The finished products are automatically packaged and sold directly. The manpower demand is low, and continuous operation can be achieved with high production efficiency. Semi-automatic processing takes a long time. For example, starch extraction in the sedimentation tank and natural drying require manual operation. The production efficiency is relatively low and is easily affected by the operator's proficiency. Only the extraction of starch in the sedimentation tank takes about 48 hours, so the overall processing efficiency is relatively low.

2. Different starch quality
The fully automatic starch processing equipment is finely processed, the whole process is closed, the processing process is fine, the finished product is dry and delicate, clean and white, and the product quality can be ensured by accurately controlling production parameters such as temperature, pressure, time, etc. Stable. Semi-automatic starch processing equipment uses sedimentation tanks to extract starch and natural drying to dry starch. The processing process is relatively rough. It will be affected by the outside world during the processing, and some impurities will be added.

When choosing semi-automatic or fully automatic sweet potato starch equipment, companies should comprehensively consider their own needs, budget, production scale, product positioning and long-term development strategy to make the most appropriate decision.
